Meet Dr. Bournique,
Your Gastroenterology Locums Physician

As a locums physician, I have the unique privilege of being able to provide patients with services in gastroenterology where it is otherwise not available. By collaborating with hospitals to provide these services, this allows for timely and comprehensive medical care within your current hospital setting.

My goal as a locums physician is to provide you with the knowledge, reassurance and procedures necessary to improve your overall health and allow for a safe discharge from the hospital. I hope to make you feel comfortable and at ease within an unfamiliar setting.

About Me

Background and Services Offered

I am dual board certified in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology (AOBIM/ABIM). Within the hospital setting I utilize my skills as a gastroenterologist which includes addressing concerns which involve the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, pancreas, liver, biliary system, colon and rectum.

I developed this website with the goal of giving you a sense of familiarity with an unfamiliar face. There is also an abundance of information provided within a stressful situation and therefore I hope that this website provides you with additional resource to conduct further research into the topics that we have discussed during your consultation.

"Dr. Bournique is one of the nicest, most caring doctors I have ever gone to. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She really cares about her patients. I was apprehensive about a procedure and she said "I am here to help you, not to hurt you." That really resonated with me.

She is the best."
